In 2019, the Confederation of Canadian Unions is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. The founding convention of the CCU was held in Sudbury, Ontario in July 1969.
To commemorate this event, the CCU is creating a new logo to remember the original founders of our association on its half-century anniversary. The logo above was created by a member of CUSW (Canadian Union of Skilled Workers), Joseph Cook.
But there’s still time to submit your own. Until June 22, 2019, CCU members from throughout the country are welcome to submit their own versions of the 50th anniversary logo and email them to media@ccu-csc.ca. They can be submitted in PDF, JPG or PNG format.
Here’s your chance to add to the proud history of the CCU. Good luck to all.
